About

Join the Carrick-a-Rede team for a cosy, winter get together in the Tearoom on Wednesday 27 November from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, for an evening of captivating storytelling, sure to make your imagination go wild, as Storyteller, Keith delves into lesser-known myths associated with the Causeway Coast.

Many have visited Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site over the years, but there is more to the Giant's Causeway than what meets the eye...

Your Storyteller for the evening, Keith will guide you on a virtual tour, delving deep into some of the weird and wonderful lesser-known facts about this magical site...

There are around 40,000 columns, but how come they are that shape?
The Giant's Boot, or is it a chair, and where did it come from?
Exactly who was Finn McCool? Irish chieftain, or was he a Viking? And not to forget Benandonner, Finn's Scottish enemy. Come along and hear the official story of how the Causeway was built and how the famous fight was won!
Old Mary Kane - she sold whiskey to visitors, but what happened when she was told to stop?
The Hermit of Portcoon Cave - a dark and spooky place, so why live there?

These, as well as a selection of other vastly entertaining stories, accompanied with lots of laughs along the way, will leave you wanting more...

This is a free event. Spaces are limited, therefore pre-booking is essential via the official website.
