Balmoral Show (Wed 13 - Sat 16 May)

Save the date for the 157th Balmoral Show. As Northern Ireland’s main event for food and farming, it features livestock competitions, show-jumping, and live displays. Visitors can browse hundreds of stalls, taste local food, and enjoy family entertainment throughout the grounds. Whether you want to see the animals or learn about where your food comes from, there is plenty to do across the four days.

Celtic Heart (Sun 17 May)

Produced in collaboration with The Music Yard, Celtic Heart is a locally made production that explores Belfast’s history through music and storytelling. Set in the industrial era of the early 1900s, the show follows a father’s reflections on family, tradition, and a forbidden romance. This performance brings together spoken word by storyteller Colin Urwin, live traditional music, and Irish dance to create a clear picture of working-class life. It is an honest look at the city’s heritage, combining folklore and humour with the energy of a live folk session. Get you tickets now to experience this unique story!

Stendhal Festival (Thurs 2 - Sat 4 July)

Stendhal Festival has grown into Northern Ireland’s largest independent music and arts event. Each summer, the festival brings together a variety of performances, including live music, comedy, poetry, and visual arts. It is widely recognised for its welcoming atmosphere and has been named ‘Ireland’s Best Family Festival’ on several occasions. With a dedicated programme designed to entertain children and adults alike, it remains a highlight for visitors looking to experience the local creative scene.

Twelfth of July Celebrations 2026 (Mon 13 July)
