Rathlin Sound Festival (Thurs 21 - Sun 31 May)

The Rathlin Sound Festival highlights the island’s long connection to the sea through its food, music, and maritime history. Visitors can experience local traditions firsthand, enjoy live performances, and sample regional dishes. It is a great opportunity to have a fun day exploring the island’s heritage.

Stendhal Festival (Thurs 2 - Sat 4 July)

Stendhal Festival has grown into Northern Ireland’s largest independent music and arts event. Each summer, the festival brings together a variety of performances, including live music, comedy, poetry, and visual arts. It is widely recognised for its welcoming atmosphere and has been named ‘Ireland’s Best Family Festival’ on several occasions. With a dedicated programme designed to entertain children and adults alike, it remains a highlight for visitors looking to experience the local creative scene.

Twelfth of July Celebrations 2026 (Mon 13 July)

Celebrate the Twelfth of July across Northern Ireland, as towns and cities come alive with parades, music, and community festivities. From vibrant marching bands and colourful pageantry to family-friendly events and cultural showcases, the day honours tradition and heritage in every corner of the region. Whether you’re soaking up the atmosphere in a bustling city centre or enjoying local celebrations closer to home, there’s something for everyone to experience.

Belfast Pride Festival (Fri 17 - Sun 26 Jul)

Belfast Pride returns, marking the 35th anniversary of the city’s largest LGBTQIA+ festival. The centrepiece of the week is the Pride Parade, which sees community groups, businesses, and allies join together for a walk through the city centre. Visitors can also spend time at the Pride Village, an alcohol-free space with stalls and family entertainment, or attend the main stage performances at Custom House Square. With events and after-parties held across Belfast, the festival remains one of the city's most significant annual celebrations.
