NI Science Festival 2026 (Wed 11 - Sun 22 Feb)

The Northern Ireland Science Festival (NISF) returns for 2026, bringing well-known experts and local researchers together to explore how our world works. During the day, you can find a variety of workshops, tours, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages. When the sun goes down, the festival offers a different mix of events for adults, ranging from comedy and music to scientific debates and film. Early bird tickets are available to book now!

Home of St Patrick Festival 2026 (Sun 8 March)

Discover the Home of St Patrick Festival. This ten-day event celebrates the life and legacy of St Patrick through a blend of music, art, theatre, and dance. You can take part in guided walks between the city's two cathedrals, attend family-friendly concerts, or try your hand at a stained-glass workshop. St Patrick's Day at Ulster Folk Museum (Tue 17 Mar)

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day at the Ulster Folk Museum with a day centred on history and local customs. Here you will find traditional music, Irish dancing, and quiet corners for storytelling. It is a chance to try your hand at heritage crafts, sample a bowl of colcannon, or even learn a few words of Irish. Whether you are watching horses at work in the fields or enjoying a drink at McCusker’s pub, it is a simple, authentic way to celebrate the occasion.

Glenarm Castle Tulip Festival 2026 (Sat 2 - Mon 4 May)

Visit Glenarm Castle for the annual Tulip Festival. Held over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the event features thousands of tulips in bloom throughout the walled garden. Alongside the displays, you can enjoy live music, local food, and various craft stalls. With carnival rides and a mini Land Rover course for children, it is a practical choice for a family day out or a quiet walk in the grounds.

Briggs Equipment North West 200 (Mon 4 - Sat 9 May)

Every May, the Causeway Coastal Route in Northern Ireland becomes the setting for the North West 200. Riders will compete on an 8.9-mile circuit that connects the towns of Portrush, Portstewart, and Coleraine. It is a week-long festival that includes practice sessions, evening entertainment, and various viewing areas, offering a chance to see world-class racing in a unique coastal location.
