Based on the popular children's novel, this exhibition at the Ulster American Folk Park tells the story of siblings Eily, Michael, and Peggy during the Great Famine. Visitors can follow the characters' journey through a series of displays that use sound, smell, and touch to bring the book to life. A central feature of the gallery is a hand-crafted, full-size hawthorn tree, created using traditional willow-weaving techniques. The exhibition is included with standard entry to the museum and is definitely worth the visit!
The International Spring Market returns to Cookstown town centre. Alongside the stalls, visitors can enjoy live music and family entertainment throughout the day. Whether you are looking for a unique gift or want to try new food, the market offers a lively day out for all ages.
