    Belfast Pride Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Belfast with over 150 events across 10 days. The festival runs from Friday 19th July to Sunday 28th July with Pride Day and the centrepiece Pride Parade on Saturday 27th July.

    The annual Foyle Pride Festival returns for a celebration of diversity and inclusivity in the heart of Derry~Londonderry. The parade will take place on 24th August, and stay tuned for more details as the exciting line-up and events are released.

    Sister bar to The Maverick, home of Ru Paul’s UK vs The World winner Blu Hydrangea, this LGBTQIA+ friendly bar is in the heart of the ‘Queer Quarter’, as it’s known by locals. Neighbouring the Irish News offices and the old Belfast Telegraph building, the intimate bar’s warm and welcoming interior is clad with artefacts and memorabilia, illustrating the city’s colourful history through the eyes of the press. Weekly entertainment runs Monday-Saturday including bingo, quizzes and live music.
  4. Paperxclips front desk
    Paperxclips is a trans-owned and operated LGBTQIA+ bookshop, coffee shop, pay-what-you-can barber shop, and community space which opened in Belfast in 2022. They opened the store to provide the queer community and their friends, allies, and family with access to inclusive literature, and gender affirming services, as well as a meeting, event, and hangout space which does not require spending money to exist in.
  5. From royal relationships and public scandals to political activism and evolving attitudes, Hillsborough Castle's connection to LGBTQ+ lives has existed for centuries. Discover the detail through LBGTQ+ tours led by an expert guide, running on 19, 21, 26 July and 2 and 4 August. Tours include discussions on changing attitudes to sexuality and gender identity through stories from the Castle's past, as well as the rich collection of objects and paintings on display.
