Our Stories Festival

About

Our Stories will feature special events with renowned naturalist & environmental campaigner Chris Packham and popular children's storyteller Oliver Jeffers, as well as a range of events that will delve into the themes of Our People, Our Place, Our Planet.

The new festival is part of Belfast City Council's Belfast 2024 programme, delivered in partnership with Belfast Stories and produced by Nerve Centre and NI Science Festival.

With engaging talks, hands on work-shops, and exciting exhibitions, hosted by artists, thinkers, designers, musicians, activists and storytellers, Our Stories will make you think about how we live together in this city, and what our future will look like. This is more than a festival—it's a movement!

Our Stories starts on the 21st November, with a special In Conversation event when Chris Packham, will be joined by ecologist and fonder of Wild Belfast, Conor McKinney, in a discussion on the future of our planet. Anna Kernahan, a passionate youth activist from Fridays for Future Northe
