The Official Guided Tour allows you an extraordinary glimpse into areas not usually accessible to the general public within the beautiful Baroque Revival building. Ascending the Grand Staircase, the experienced guide will lead your group through a series of rooms including the Irish-oak panelled Council Chamber and Italian and Greek marble clad Rotunda highlighting stunning civic regalia and historic portraits along the way. Tours last around 45 minutes. Tours for groups must be booked in advance. For information about charges, availability and to make a booking, please email or phone the team.

Monday to Friday at 11am, 2pm and 3pm
Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon, 2pm and 3pm

Visitor Exhibition - To complete the experience you may now include after your tour a visit to our unique Visitor Exhibition. The exhibition stretches over 16 separate rooms, all presented within the original architecture of City Hall and explores the history of Belfast. Visitors may purchase audio headsets which provides additional audio content enhancing the exhibition. This guide is available in English, Irish, Ulster-Scots, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin and Polish.

Gift Shop - Open daily, the gift shop is located at the centre of the building beside the Grand Staircase, and sells a variety of gifts from pens and pencils, to ceramic mugs, baseball caps and full colour reference books.
