Festive Wreath Workshop

Belfast Zoo, Antrim Road, Belfast, County Antrim, BT36 7PN
Festive Wreath Workshop

About

Book your place for our wreath-making workshop and enjoy a magical time of festive cheer.

Learn the history of wreath-making and the skills to create your own 14-inch festive wreath. The workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

You'll learn how to decorate your wreath using foliage, wiring and making a triple bow. You will use a combination of fresh plant materials sourced from the zoo site and local areas. This will include a seasonal materials such as foliage, moss, holly, leaves, apple and orange slices, cinnamon infused sticks, and pinecones. Complete your wreath with biodegradable lace ribbons. You can also bring your own holiday decorations to match your décor. At the end of the workshop, enjoy a scrumptious festive afternoon tea.

All materials and tools will be provided. If you have your own wire cutters and secateurs, you can bring them. All workshop materials are compostable or recyclable because we want to ensure our workshops are run with sustainability in mind.

The workshop costs £45 per person. This includes afternoon tea. Admission to the zoo is extra.

Workshop Time: 10.30am to 1pm.

Afternoon tea served at 12.30pm. Our festive afternoon tea will include: a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate or non-alcoholic mulled wine), triangle sandwiches, scone with jam and cream, and two mini traybakes.

For workshop information and bookings, email info@belfastzoo.co.uk or call 028 9077 6277. Spaces are limited. Early booking is recommended.
