Join artist Ali Walker as she guides you in the art of botanical drawing from life in Mount Stewart's beautiful gardens. You will learn how to make quick detailed drawings of Autumnal plants and flowers, whilst paying attention to important botanical details. The workshop will begin with a garden tour, led by Rob Wilson Assistant Head Gardener, and after a short lunch break, where you can avail of the delicious menu in the Mount Stewart Tea Room, Ali will demonstrate tips and techniques to help you capture various botanical specimens. Drawing materials will be provided.

This is a 5 hour workshop with a short break included. Drawing materials will be provided.

We will be working outside and hoping for good weather, however please come prepared in case of rain!

£45 per person (max 10 people per session) and normal admission prices to the property apply (National Trust Members free). Please see website for details. Meet at Mount Stewart Reception.
