About

The Old Schoolhouse offers unique B & B accommodation in a former National School property where Guests will enjoy countryside, homely comforts and a warm welcome. Rooms decorated to celebrate nature, the property contains a small (and evolving) library and gallery of Northern & Irish literature and art.

Guests are greeted and served with tea/coffee and home-made bakes on arrival.

Situated near the Lower Lough Erne shoreline, The Old Schoohouse is a few minutes away from the Manor House Hotel, the Manor Marina and is a dander to Tickety Moo Ice Cream Parlour, and short drives to Castle Archdale and Castle Caldwell. Other heritage, environmental sites in the Fermanagh area include UNESCO Global Geopark of Marble Arch Caves, the Cuilagh Boardwalk ‘Stairway to Heaven’, Lough Navar Forest viewpoint, as well as the monastic sites and stone circles, such as Devenish Island.

The Old Schoolhouse is 7.5 miles from the island town of Enniskillen, where there is plenty to see, do, taste and enjoy! (Enniskillen Castle Museums, Enniskillen Taste Experience, Enniskillen water Taxi's, Foothill Park, Row the Erne)

The Old School House is truly an ideal base for relaxing, sightseeing, fishing, outdoor recreation and motoring in Northern Ireland’s very own ‘Lake District’.

Passionate about Fermanagh and rural living and with an interest in community and art and with a track record in the tourism and hospitality industry, The Old Schoolhouse are happy to ensure you get the most from your stay and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Seasonal opening April to October inclusive. However, it may be possible to arrange stays through the winter/spring season by contacting the B&B directly.

Breakfast options include: Light and Tasty continental style OR a two course Homemade Breakfast.
