Ulster Orchestra: The Snowman Family Concert

About

ACCESSIBLE EVENT (RP/BSL)*

This festive season, the Ulster Orchestra invites you to a truly enchanting experience for all ages! For the first time ever, we're performing live to not one, but two magical films on the big screen, a treat for both children and adults alike.

Join us for the beloved classic The Snowman, a timeless tale that has created special memories for generations and continues to do so. And this year, we are thrilled to introduce a wonderful new addition, The Bear and the Piano.

The Bear and the Piano tells the story of a curious bear that discovers a piano in the forest, he learns to play, and embarks on a journey to the city to become a renowned musician. This heartwarming tale celebrates the joy of finding your passion and the enduring importance of home and friendship. It's the perfect story to cosy up with this festive season, surrounded by the magic of live orchestral music.

Adding to the cinematic experience, the orchestra will also perform festive favourites including Sleigh Ride and Snow Waltz.

Whether you're returning to the cherished snowman story or discovering the bear's musical adventure for the first time, this concert promises magic, joy, and Christmas cheer for the whole family.

*Signed performances. There will be a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the auditorium and you are free to enter and exit during the performance. A chill-out space is available on level one and noise-cancelling headphones can be used if needed. There are no significant adjustments to sound or lighting for these performances apart from slight dimming when the film is on.
