The Distiller's Night – A Spirited Supper in the Mournes

About

Hosted at Killowen Distillery | Food by On the Hoof

Step into the shadows of the Mournes this Halloween for The Distiller's Night – A Spirited Supper in the Mournes, an unforgettable evening of firelight, folklore, flavour, and finely crafted spirits at Killowen Distillery.

Killowen Distillery invites you to join us at our ancient Mourne Mountain home to experience the darker side of distilling. Join us after dark as the copper pot stills cool and rest while spirits linger. This exclusive event blends the warmth of Irish hospitality with the thrill of Halloween — all set against the atmospheric backdrop of Ireland's smallest distillery.

The evening features a fire-cooked feast by the incredible team at On the Hoof, known for their rugged, wood-fired cuisine that celebrates local produce with bold, rustic flair. Each course is expertly paired with Killowen's small-batch spirits — peated pot still whiskeys, poitíns, and seasonal concoctions.

Expect tales told with a wink and a nod, melodies old and new to fill the air, as well as behind-the-scenes tales from the distillers themselves — a rare glimpse into Killowen's unique approach to craft distilling.

Come hungry, come curious, and come clad for the cold — this is a semi-outdoor celebration of fire, flavour, and folklore. Whether you're a whiskey lover, a Halloween enthusiast, or just up for an extraordinary night out, The Distiller's Night promises to be a spirited evening you won't forget.

Limited spaces available. Over 18s only. Costumes welcome but not required.
