Sacred Sites of Killeavy | Lúnasa Tour

3 Church Road, Killeavy, County Armagh, BT35 8LF
Killeavy old churches

About

As part of the Lúnasa Festival, connect to the deep silence and palpable sense of peace within the sacred sites of Killeavy. St. Moninne (Christened by St Patrick) founded a church at the foot of Slieve Gullion in the 5th century. During the Celtic festival of Lunasa (the beginning of the harvest), it was a tradition to visit holy wells.
Ann will guide you gently onto the mountain where her Mum was born and to the sacred pre-Christian well dedicated to Moninne.

Rest, reconnect and breathe in the spectacular panoramic view during a guided meditation. We will celebrate our special journey with a tea ceremony of organic apple/cinnamon and shortbread from a local bakery.
