Fermanagh & Omagh District Council are delighted to announce that the Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival will return for 2023. Now in it’s 46th year, the Classic will take place from Monday 8 May to Friday 12 May 2023.

*Due to the additional Bank Holiday the Classic Fishing days this year will take place instead on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The King of the Erne competition (organised by Erne Anglers) will fish on Monday and Thursday. *

Classic Week begins on Sunday evening with an Opening Gala where anglers can gather to register and meet with other competitors. Fishing takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and closes with a Prize Giving Gala. Around 200 anglers each year gather from Great Britain, Republic of Ireland and Europe, each competing for an overall prize pot of over £20,000 including a top prize of £5,000.

Prize List:

Overall - 1st £5,000 / 2nd £2,000 / 3rd £1,500 / 4th £1,000 / 5th £500 / 6th £350

Daily Winners - 1st £500 / 2nd £350 /3rd £150

Section Winner (Top Weight in each five-peg section) - £50

To register, anglers should follow this link. Please ensure all details entered are correct. Anglers can choose to register on behalf of other competitors who have limited online access. Up to five competitors can be registered per form. The registration fee is £120 per angler.
