Belfast One Summer Cinema 2025

About

Belfast One, in association with Belfast Film Festival, returns to the grounds of City Hall with Belfast Summer Cinema!

Taking place on Sunday 27th July & Sunday 3rd August, movie-goers of all ages will be treated to a range of 8 fantastic movies over 2 days.

This year, the Summer Cinema will return with two themed weekends – familiar favourites and singalong Sunday, catering for every age and taste. Ticket holders can also enjoy exclusive discounts, giveaways, and tailor-made offers in select shops and outlets across the city centre.

Across two weekends, families and film lovers can enjoy four screenings per day – from crowd-pleasing hits like Inside Out and Dogman to singalong favourites: Moana, Frozen 2, Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman, and a high-energy performance of Wicked and Top Gun.

There will be added entertainment each day including face-painting, walkabout characters, and performers. There will also be live performances from Make A Sound and Belfast Rock Choir.  Families attending the Summer Cinema can also avail of Translink’s family & friends ticket, to allow visitors to travel both more sustainably and affordably.

Tickets for Belfast One’s Summer Cinema are allocated on a first come first served basis and can be purchased on Belfast Film Festival’s What’s On page:  https://belfastfilmfestival.org/whats-on
