Belfast 2024

About

Belfast 2024 is a collaborative journey to redefine our city.

Crafted by the people of Belfast, for the people of Belfast, this year-long celebration brings together a diverse range of local projects, events, and initiatives. We invite everyone to join us in envisioning a future where creativity thrives, nature flourishes, and our communities are deeply connected. This is a chance to explore new ideas, experiment with fresh approaches, and celebrate our unique identity.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating this moment to transform Belfast into a thriving hub of creativity and connection.

Through a rich program of events and initiatives, we aim to showcase the best of Belfast while inspiring a new generation of creators. Our collaboration with esteemed partners like the Eden Project, BBC NI, Oliver Jeffers, and Nerve Centre is bringing this vision to life. Together, we're creating a legacy for our city.

Through shared imagination and hard work, we aim to create a city that embraces nature, fosters strong communities, and confidently engages with the world. By building upon Belfast’s rich cultural heritage, we will introduce new and exciting ways to experience our city throughout 2024. This initiative will not only enrich our cultural landscape but also empower us to better understand our identity and our place in the world.

Let's work together to shape a Belfast that inspires us all.
