Our new podcast series with host Ralph McLean will inspire you to rediscover Northern Ireland as podcast guests share their go-to spots, trips and insider tips. In this six-part series, Ralph speaks to homegrown talent, reminiscing how our giant spirit, people and places have shaped their happiest travel memories and instilled a passion for local adventure.

As guests take trips down memory lane, the podcast invites you to fall in love all over again with our favourite local destinations but also explore new places that may be off the beaten track.

Episode 6: Bronagh Gallagher

In the sixth episode, we hear from Bronagh Gallagher, the Derry~Londonderry star of films such as The Commitments and Pulp Fiction, as well as most recently in Netflix's How To Get To Heaven From Belfast. Bronagh recalls how trips to Belfast in her youth sparked her love of music, with visits to venues including the Mandela Hall and the Belfast Empire Music Hall.

Hear more about her time well spent in the Good Vibrations record shop, why her hometown holds a special place in her heart, and find out about some of her must-visit places. She also shares stories of spending time in Portrush and Portstewart where her father and grandfather worked making chips and ice-creams, while Bronagh also reveals that she wants to hit the road to explore Strangford Lough.
