About

Visit Northern Ireland’s most delicious and first bean-to-bar chocolate maker and learn all about their chocolate-making process.

Set amongst the beautiful countryside of County Down, overlooking the coast, sits NearyNogs Stoneground Chocolate, a family business making unforgettable chocolate since 2011. Their small team of chocolate makers produces incredibly delicious, considered chocolate every single day. Their ingredients are ethically sourced, packaging is recyclable and production is solar powered, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability that hints to their broader ambitions for the craft-driven business.

When you visit for the NearyNogs Master Craft Chocolate Experience you’ll be taken through the entire chocolate making process from bean sorting, gentle roasting, breaking and winnowing to stone grinding and more. Then you’ll enjoy a taste journey, experiencing the rich and unique flavours of chocolate from across the globe. This will give you an opportunity to fully understand the sweet treat that most of us have been enjoying and perhaps taking for granted all of our lives.

It is an 85 minute tour suitable for all, but perhaps best enjoyed by adults and children from 12 years of age, and most especially by those with an interest in all things chocolate!
