The beautiful County of Donegal is just 10mins away and within one hour of its world famous pristine beaches where you can brave the cold and take a dip in its crystal clear waters, hire out a kayak or for the more adventurous type surf in one of the many fantastic surfing spots. The city of Derry/Londonderry which is steeped in hundreds of years of history right up to the current day is a 25min drive away or you can easily catch a bus there from Strabane. It has everything you could wish to find, from shopping centres to boutique shops, restaurants and bars, museums and tours of the historic city walls which where built in the early 1600s.
