Drumena Cottage

About

Drumena Cottage is finished to a very high standard. It has a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, and an open fire in the sitting room, to enjoy on a cold winter’s evening.
It is set within its own expansive garden. A BBQ is provided and there is a designated area to light a fire where you can toast marshmallows, make smores and enjoy the glorious mountain views.

The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the beautiful County of Down, with its fabulous beaches at Newcastle and Murlough Nature Reserve, its magical forest parks of Tolleymore, Castlewellan and Kilbroney, the beautiful villages of Rostrevor, Warrenpoint and Carlingford (a short ferry crossing from Greencastle) and for venturing into the mountains to discover the blue loughs, reservoirs and craggy summits of the Mournes.
Activities abound on your doorstep, from pony trekking to mountain biking, paddleboarding to golfing, hiking to road biking, and even a trip to the local Whitewater Brewery in Castlewellan – there is something for all ages and stages.
