About

Situated in Dungiven, in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains. We are approximately 18 miles from Derry~Londonderry, 52 miles from Belfast, 30 miles from the Giant's Causeway

The accommodation is conveniently located on the main street of the town, close to the local shops, bars and restaurants. The town of Dungiven itself is convenient for travelling to or from both Belfast and the Walled City of Derry~Londonderry, with public transport regularly running between the 2 cities and stopping in Dungiven both ways. Also within 20-25 miles from the accommodation are some of the best beaches and surf in Northern Ireland, with Benone, Downhill, Castlerock, Portstewart and Portrush all wthin a short drive of each other.

Nearby is the beautiful Banagher Glen, home to some of the most beautiful walking trails in the Sperrins. A secluded, steep wooded glen leading to Altnaheglish Reservoir and Banagher Dam, it's one of the oldest ancient oak woodlands in Ireland and a Nature Reserve and Special Area of Conservation.

Just a little further afield (approximately 20 miles) in Bellaghy is Seamus Heaney HomePlace, a purpose built arts and literary centre celebrating the life and work of the Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney who was born and raised in the area.
