About
Fleeing the 1825 war in Greece, Zula came to Ireland, joined the ministry of the Moravian Church and was assigned to Kilwarlin in 1834. He revived the fortunes of a fledgling congregation and in the process created Zula's Hollow, a unique representation of Thermopylae in Greece. There's no other historic garden like this in the UK and this is the only known replica of ancient Thermopylae, the scene of the 486 BCE Battle of Thermopylae. The Moravian Church has preserved this heritage, with plans for amazing developments for your enjoyment.
