About

A unique array of 30+ historic aircraft and exhibits celebrating Northern Ireland’s aviation heritage. See commercial, Cold War and World War 2 aircraft, stroll among the displays, observe restorations in progress in a historic hangar. It’s all the work of a small army of enthusiasts, dedicated since 1968 to rebuilding and preserving an impressive collection of airplanes, helicopters and aviation artefacts.

Location: Halftown Road, off the A3 (Moira Road) at the western edge of Lisburn, in the new Balmoral Park development site at Maze/Long Kesh.
Website: www.ulsteraviationsociety.org. We are also on Facebook.

To arrange a group tour of the hangar collection, contact the Ulster Aviation Society by telephone or by visiting UAS.

Unfortunately, the collection is not open to casual visitors. Group visits are limited during the months of December, January and February, due to winter conditions. Further details regarding visits are available at: http://ulsteraviationsociety.org/visit-hangar
