About

Crossing Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is already a thrilling achievement itself, but why not make the day even more memorable by learning a brand new skill?

On Thursday 3 July, join Nature Engagement Officer, Dr Cliff Henry for a creative afternoon of Wildflower Crown Making, surrounded by the colours and scents of summer!

Let your imagination bloom as you craft your very own floral masterpiece and learn about the vital conservational work that helps protect the vibrant wildflower meadows at Carrick-a-Rede - it really is the perfect way to relax with the family in the outdoors and connect with nature.

The workshop will take place from 2pm - 4pm.

National Trust Members and Local Pass Holders gain free access. Online booking is strongly recommended in advance via the official Carrick-a-Rede website. This is a free event; normal admission charges apply.

Ticket price includes the full Visitor Experience; reserved on-site parking, walks and talks illustrating the history of the site, access to all facilities, as well as rope bridge crossing.

Take part, get inspired and head home with your own hand-crafted wildflower crown!

*Summer of Play is proudly sponsored by Starling Bank.
