Weave a Willow Tension Tray in the Walled Garden

About

If you fancy channelling your inner Nigella with homemade scones served on your very own handwoven willow tray or perhaps prefer to hang your masterpiece proudly on the wall... then this is the workshop for you!

Join us in the Walled Garden, Helen's Bay, for a relaxed and creative Willow Weaving Workshop, where you'll craft your own bespoke willow tension tray or platter using sustainable willow from our Salley Garden.

You'll spend the day with talented local willow artist Heather McDermott, who will guide you through the traditional weaving techniques needed to craft your own unique tension tray using freshly prepared willow.

This full day workshop is suitable for adults of all skill levels ... no prior experience required just a moderate amount of manual strength and dexterity

Tickets: £90 per person
Includes:
All tuition and materials
Use of tools
Morning and afternoon tea (with homemade scones, of course!)
A delicious seasonal lunch in our restored Glasshouse

A perfect creative day out to share with a friend or partner for birthdays, anniversaries, in a beautiful heritage setting.
