Join us in The Walled Garden, Helen’s Bay, for a relaxed and inspiring Full-Day Willow Weaving Workshop with talented willow artist Heather McDermott.
Spend the day learning traditional willow weaving techniques to create your own beautiful and sustainable plant support.. perfect for climbing roses clematis, or sweet peas.

You will get the opportunity to visit our Saille Garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow. Please come suitably dressed

Although no prior experience is required for this workhop, it is designed for adults with good manual dexterity.

Road Directions

Access the Craigdarragh Road from the A2 Belfast–Bangor carriageway. Follow the signs for Helen’s Bay. Continue along Craigdarragh Road for approximately 0.8 miles, where you will see the Walled Garden on your left.

Proceed towards the 30mph speed limit. Take the left-hand turn at the sign and drive down the temporary driveway. This which will be clearly signposted. Follow the lane straight ahead to reach the car park located directly outside the Walled Garden.
