Step into the timeless charm of Old Mill House for a magical day of traditional willow weaving with resident willow artist, Heather McDermott, to weave your own willow sculptures in our Weave a Dragonfly and Butterfly workshop
These beautiful willow structures will add beauty, structure and interest to your garden planters or flowerbeds for several years to come and can be made as large or as small as is suitable for your garden space
Using willow that has been sustainably grown on site, you will learn the fundamental skills and weaving techniques required to create your own beautiful, sculptures
As part of the experience, you will visit our Salley or Saille Garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow, so please come suitably dressed
No prior experience is required! This workshop is designed for adults of all skill levels, though some manual dexterity is needed.
