W5 Late Fright Night

About

Creepy Campfire Tales
Telling spooky stories around the fireside is an ancient tradition, especially at this time of year. This Halloween season, we invite you to gather around the campfire with us, and let the Ghostly Storyteller weave a web of spine-tingling tales. Wait a minute! - this is the description for our family event - This is W5 Late - these aren't creepy tales - these are tales of terror! Take a seat by the campfire - ignore the strange sounds coming from the forest around you - there's nothing to fear here - honestly!

Mask Making
Meet mask maker extraordinaire Chris Stephens and learn how he sculpts, moulds and paints incredible masks from the movies. Chris will have a display of his stunning work on show - which needs to be seen to be believed.

Character Meet and Greets
Beware we have some very creepy costumed characters wandering round for chance encounters.

Costume Competition Reptile Encounter
We know it's the night after Halloween but it's time to dress up again and see if you can win a fantastic prize in our Costume Competition. 'The Judge' will be wandering around throughout the night - nominating what he believes to be the best costumes for a final parade at 10pm when the audience shall choose the winner.

Reptile Encounter
Get ready to face your fears! Scales, claws, and sharp teeth might sound like nightmares, but at this Fright Night, they're all part of the fun. Meet fascinating creatures up close as reptile experts from Reptile Rescue join us, bringing along a variety of cold-blooded friends. From curious lizards and majestic bearded dragons to hardy tortoises and even some impressively large snakes, this is your chance to experience these animals like never before. Perfect for the brave (or those looking to conquer their fears)!

Speed Quiz
Get your team together and test your general knowledge in what is aways a hugely popular event - the W5 Late Speed Quiz.

Science Shows
Visit the science bar and see 'Fear' and 'Deep Frieze (The Directors Cut') two extremely entertaining and informative science shows.

All of this plus Live DJ, Bars, Face Painting, and Board Games in our Coffee Shop add up to a what's going to be great night out.

Discover How To Be A Blood Donor
We will be joined by the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service, who will be helping you discover how you can become a lifesaving blood donor.

Every year, thousands of people across Northern Ireland rely on donated blood. It is used to treat people in emergencies; it is carried by the Air Ambulance; it can help people going through surgery, illnesses, cancer, childbirth and it can even help newborn babies.
