The Vanishing – Family Halloween Event

About

Prepare for a world of enchantment, mystery, and Halloween fun this autumn as the woodland trail at Cladagh Glen transforms into a magical, interactive adventure for all the family!

Little Red Riding Hood has gone missing on her way to Grandma's house… and the forest is buzzing with whispers and riddles. Now it's up to you, our brave young detectives, to uncover the truth!
Who took her? Where did they take her? And what did they use to do it?
Just like the classic game of Cluedo, your family will work together to solve the mystery of Little Red's disappearance, and every step of the trail holds a clue!
At the very start of your journey, you'll meet the Oracle. a wise (and slightly wacky!) magical being who will introduce you to the quest ahead. They'll hand you your Mystery Trail Card, setting you off into the mystical woods where a cast of curious and magical characters await. But beware, each of them is a suspect! Are they friend or foe? That's for you to decide! Follow the trail, collect clues, and use your best detective skills to crack the case before the sun sets…

Come in Costume!

Dress warmly and don your most spellbinding Halloween costume, witches, wizards, ghosts, goblins, or even a mini detective – the forest loves a splash of magic! There will be photo opportunities, and a prize for everyone who completes the trail (with a special magical touch, of course).

️ A Little Spooky, A Lot of Fun! - While most of our woodland characters are delightful (with a dash of eerie!), some do have spooky stories to tell, so a little bravery might be needed! For those who prefer a gentler experience, we offer a sensory-friendly session at 11:00 each morning, where the scares are turned down and the magic turned up.

Family Fun for Ages 5+

This enchanted experience is designed for families with children aged 5 and over but there is no strict age limit. All are welcome to join in the fun. Just remember, all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the trail.

Booking is Essential!
This popular event fills up fast, so book your chosen day and time slot online in advance. On the day, please check in at the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre and give yourself plenty of time to get ready for your magical journey.
