Raku Firing - Pottery Workshop

Carnmore Road, Corranny, Roslea, County Fermanagh, BT92 7BS
Raku Banner

About

Looking to dive into pottery? Immerse yourself in the magic of Raku pottery. Perfect for beginners and those with experience, this workshop can reveal bold colours with crackled glazes, and the thrill of alternative firing techniques, like Obvara and Naked Raku.

Have your choice of two pre-made pottery pieces then spend the day glazing and decorating your pieces, and witness the excitement of Raku firing. Watch as your creations are removed from the kiln at glowing red heat and placed into containers filled with combustible materials. Flames and smoke interact with your pottery, producing dramatic, unpredictable effects. Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind masterpiece shaped by fire and nature.

Sumptuous vegetarian lunch included
