History Gallery in the Ulster Museum

About

Gather at the Ulster Museum reception for a talk by Curator of Modern History, Rebecca Laverty, discussing objects from the Second World War collection. John Herbert (Bert) Hassard from Enniskillen was captured in Northern France in 1940 and sent to a Prisoner of War camp. Life in the camps could be difficult, but Bert and his fellow soldiers did their best to lift their spirits by organising entertainment such as plays.
