LUX Beginners Jewellery Making Workshop

Holywood, County Down, BT180NJ
Two ladies with small torches melting down some gold in contemporary studio

About

This "LUX Beginners Jewellery Making Experience" is jewellery made by you.  Make a sterling silver memory instead of buying one! Come, enjoy the craic and hammer off & solder some of the frustration of being stuck indoors because of bad weather.  A truly bespoke experience as it is just your group, you will not be joined to any other group to "make up the numbers"!

Guided by our goldsmith Ruth, each person will make their own piece of 925 sterling silver or copper jewellery (you choose) to take away. Each participant on this 'LUX' experience will also receive their own recycleable jute gift bag containing a mini bottle of non alcoholic bubbles (or Prosecco) and some local 'tray bakes' (small cakes) that they can either enjoy during the workshop or take home.

You will be hosted continuously with refreshments and can relax on our outside deck or in our studio, during the polishing process, weather dependant. So why not gift this jewellery experience to someone you love, or treat yourself, as we will post your jewellery making gift certificate/s or electronic gift cards, in advance of the workshop. These are fabulously relaxed and fun experiences.

So come on along and spend some quality time with your family and friends on a unique morning out that you won't forget. Then spend the afternoon exploring the Ards Peninsula - we have lots of great recommendations for afterwards. No experience is necessary for this activity and the memories you make will stay with you forever, as will your new creation.

Timings are normally 10:00 to 13:30 but if we run on a bit, no problem. The workshop is located in the beautiful Holywood Hills, overlooking Belfast Lough, so you can take time to breathe in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Book via the nisilver.com website. Max of 4 per workshop, however larger family groups can be accommodated by special request. If the date is not suitable please call us and we can try to accommodate your request.

Easy to access by car, train, and parking available.  We can even collect you from the train station if need be in our hybrid car.  Totally eco-friendly.
