Lap the lough is an annual cycle event around Lough Neagh, the largest lake in Ireland and Britain.
The route travels 144km/89 miles anti-clockwise around Lough Neagh with stops approx every 20 miles. Starting again from Moy & Claremont - a beautiful village bordering the counties of Tyrone and Armagh with great bars, cafés, restaurants and lots of accommodation.
The event is aimed at anyone interested in cycling around Lough Neagh. People new to cycling, colleagues from work, members of cycle clubs, young and old, friends and families, all sizes and shapes. It’s just a big bike ride for people who like big bike rides.
NB Parents/Guardians of participants between 12-18 must contact us in advance and provide written permission - they must be accompanied by a nominated adult at all times during the event.
The event takes place on Bank Holiday weekend, 25th August.
