About

The IWAI Newry Portadown branch will give a talk tracing the historic canal trade links and how the Newry Canal connected the local area at the height of it's popularity.  The public are welcome to join IWAI members at Moody's Lock, Canal Bank, Poyntzpass as we tell you about the fascinating trade routes of the Newry Canal. This will be followed by a water based demonstration on active use of the Canal (weather permitting)
