Homes in Focus: The Old Rectory

Ulster Folk Museum, 153 Bangor Road, Cultra, Holywood, County Down, BT18 0EU
The Old Rectory at the Ulster Folk Museum

About

Homes in Focus is a series of intimate talks in the Ulster Folk Museum's beautiful buildings, where we'll be diving deep into the lives of those who lived in them and the history of these unique homes.

For our autumn iteration of 'Homes in Focus', we'll be gathering in the Old Rectory which opened at the museum in 1973. Originally situated about one mile east of Toomebridge in County Antrim, the house was occupied by several generations of the McCullagh family, starting with the Reverend Robert McCullagh, from whom the house gets its moniker.

What to know:

-Please arrive at the museum 15 minutes early to allow time to walk to the building which is situated in the rural part of the museum.
-Your ticket also includes general admission to the museum, please feel free to explore the rest of the site before or after the talk.
-Please note that this event is suitable for 8 years +. Under 16s should be supervised by an adult at all times.
-For accessibility requirements please refer to our FAQs.
