Adventure Playpark at Slieve Gullion Forest Park, 89 Drumintee Road, Killeavy, County Armagh, BT35 8SW
Forest bathing

About

Celebrate the Celtic festival of Samhain, the end of the harvest with a forest bathing immersion. Sacred Slieve Gullion mountain is a perfect place to deepen your spiritual connection with nature. Forest Therapy Practitioner, Ann will support you to slow down, rest and reconnect with nature. Forest Bathing is an evidence-based, wellness practice which originated in Japan in the 1980's as a stress prevention intervention. 2 hours in the forest builds immunity for up to 10 days. Some other benefits include: boosting mood, energy, sleep and creativity. We will celebrate the harvest season with a tea ceremony of organic wild apple & cinnamon tea and shortbread from a local bakery.
