About

Why not take the opportunity to visit Florence Court and its beautiful house and gardens. Explore the picturesque walks, enjoy a house tour steeped in history, browse the second-hand book shop and get some delicious refreshments in the tearoom.

As a conservation charity, we play a huge role in the protection and preservation of coast, countryside, mansions and gardens in Northern Ireland. We love how European Heritage Open Days help encourage more people to enjoy our rich and varied historic environment. Spending the day at one of our special places is the perfect way to uncover your local history and embark on a journey of cultural discovery. You’ll see what our wonderful conservation work achieves and hopefully be inspired to become a valued member.

Florence Court is a fine example of the Irish country house, with a grand home surrounded by formal parkland and extensive woodlands. Today, the beauty and peacefulness of Florence Court bely the sometimes turbulent lives of those who lived and worked here during the course of its 300-year history.
