About

Féile an Phobail is Ireland’s Biggest Community Arts Festival. Féile provides a programme of arts, cultural and community-based activities throughout the year, with its flagship festival, the August Féile being the highlight of Ireland’s festival calendar.

Féile 2024 runs from 1st to 11th August and is ready to welcome visitors from across the world with over 600 events in total at over 50 venues across the city.

The August Féile is a magnet for locals and visitors alike, attracting interest from across the globe. The festival is packed with an eclectic mix of events ranging from concerts, lively debates and discussions and art exhibitions to massive community and sporting events showcasing the very best of Belfast.

Healdine events this year include our annual Féile 10k, performances from renowned Irish singer Frances Black, comedy and dance nights, the Féile Country Fest, and the ever popular 80s/90s night.

With over 600 events this year, there really is something for everyone - whether it's the Féile Trad Trail, music workshops, comedy with the likes of Neil Delamere and Paddy Raff, theatre shows like Deaf as a Post or Love on the Radio - an event celebrating prolific East Belfast playwright Stuart Love.

There's tours of West Belfast, discussions and debates with Diane Abbott, one of the best known figures in British Politics, former Wexford hurling captain Diarmuid Lyng, and world renowned barrister Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh. Watch the grand final of Ireland's Next Top Chef and celebrate Féile's International Day of the world's indigenous people with our food fayre, live music and dance.

Take part in our annual Féile 10k

This is just the tip of the iceberg - with film, sport, and Irish language events, and much more, you can be sure it's all happening at Féile. So come and join us as we celebrate our community celebration of global culture.
