Get creative in experimental drawing sessions with Sally O'Dowd on 25th February and 25th March!
You'll use large pieces of paper, strings, charcoal and sticks throughout these sociable art exercises which have been inspired by Jane Fonda.
Sally O'Dowd is a visual artist and curator with a socially engaged practice. As a politically aware artist, her research is concerned with identity and in particular intimate female ritual and investigating the role – self selected and enforced – of women in contemporary Irish society.
What to know - No level of drawing skills required, just a willingness to be open-minded about what drawing is! There will be physical movement, video and music involved. Please wear comfortable clothing. - This is a free event however booking is necessary. Book your place through the ticket link here. - For ages 16+. - Taking place in Art Gallery 4 of Ulster Museum.
