Eastwell Farm, 6 Ballyblack Road East, Carrowdore, County Down, BT22 2HH
Easter Family We-Treat

About

This family event will start with meeting the alpacas and other animals at Eastwell Farm, where you get to hear all about them and feed them as we walk around their lovely space.

After that we move to our designated outdoor area in the trees, where we will have some fun family yoga, followed by refreshments on the deck area (hot or cold drinks and snacks for adults plus drinks and snacks for the kids) we will do some Easter crafts in the big bell tent, and then we will take a sensory walk through the woodland trail and look out for fairies, eggs or the Easter bunny! After that we will finish up with some music and bubbles for our relaxation.

This event follows on from our successful event last year at the farm, it provides a wonderful space for families to have some time out and is a great alternative to busier venues. Numbers will be limited, there is parking at the farm, you will be directed on arriving. Please note that the yoga will be suitable for beginners, recommended age is probably 3 plus for the event and activities. There will be an amount of walking on some uneven ground around the farm and woodland so it may not be entirely buggy friendly, please advise if you have any other mobility, allergy and dietary or other needs that we can help with. The session will be SEN friendly. We will go ahead in sunshine or light rain as we have some sheltered areas to use. Please dress appropriately in comfortable layers and suitable footwear for farm walking too.

There will be camping toilet facilities in the outdoor area and a toilet at the farm reception.

We hope you can join us for a fun family afternoon.
