About

The 2024 Clandeboye Festival takes place this year from 17-24th August in the historic surroundings of the Clandeboye Estate County Down.

Join us for 8 days of incredible music making in the intimate settings of the Banqueting Hall and Chapel at Clandeboye with Barry Douglas, Camerata Ireland and an incredible line-up of guest artists including Michael McHale (piano), TianXu An (piano), Mihaela Martin (violin), Michael d'Arcy (violin), Ed Creedon (viola), Arto Noras (cello), Michel Lethiec (clarinet), Ailish Tynan (soprano), Richard Watkins (French horn), Eimear McGeown (Irish flute), Richard Allen (harp), Aisling Agnew (flute) and many more!

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

13 concerts over 8 days

- Much-loved chamber music favourites including Brahms String Sextet, Schumann Quintet for Piano and Strings, Mahler Piano Quintet and songs by Parry and Poulenc

- Barry Douglas solo piano recital

- Young Musicians' Showcase featuring the young musicians from the 2024 Camerata Ireland Academy

- A new commission by Belfast composer Greg Caffrey to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Camerata Ireland featuring flautist Aisling Agnew

- Two Mozart Piano Concertos performed by Barry Douglas and all-island orchestra Camerata Ireland

- Eimear McGeown Irish flute recital

- A family concert featuring Ailish Tynan (soprano), Richard Watkins (French horn) and Michel Lethiec (clarinet)

BOOKING - Booking for all concerts is available online via the booking page and in person from the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre. Advance booking is strongly recommended and there is no online booking fee. Tickets will also be available on the door subject to availability.

A limited number of Festival Saver Tickets are available, offering a 20% discount on tickets for all 13 concerts, reserved seating and a free Festival programme

The Clandeboye Festival is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Dufferin Foundation and Ards and North Down Borough Council.
