About

Step back to the Magherafelt of 1839, with a visit to the town’s Bridewell – a gaol for the criminals of the town…Meet with Mrs McKinley, one of the strict wardens, and walk the gloomy cells as she tells you of life within the Bridewell walls, secret tunnels and the fate of the prisoners.

Remember though – it is very easy to enter the Bridewell, but far harder to leave it...

Tours times: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00. Spaces on each tour are limited to 15 people, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
