About

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered will be performed by soprano Wendy Ferguson and pianist Ruth McGinley, with songs from the golden age of music theatre.
You'll hear classic songs by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and other well-loved classics with some hidden gems too. Come and experience an hour of witty, heart-rending and spectacular songs performed by two legendary Derry musicians.

Wendy Ferguson has performed roles in musical theatre productions in the West End, throughout the UK and internationally with roles including Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables (Queen's Theatre London) and Carlotta in The Phantom of The Opera (Her Majesty's Theatre, London).

Pianist Ruth McGinley – Artist in Residence at the MAC in 2022 – had already gained widespread recognition as one of Ireland's leading pianists by the age of 16. Since then, her career has been wide-ranging and daring, collaborating with some of the most acclaimed musicians working today, and straying from the typical classical-pianist journey.
