Visit the Belfast Christmas Market in the City Hall grounds from 16th November to the 22nd December 2024 for an award-winning taste of Christmas.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the award-winning Belfast Christmas Market is back with a nostalgic Victorian twist.

On the first weekend (November 16th to 17th) and again on the third weekend (November 30th to December 1st), step into a charming Dickensian world as you stroll through the market, surrounded by iconic characters from Charles Dickens' novels. Enjoy enchanting storytelling, lively performances, and the festive atmosphere of a bygone era. With over 100 international and local traders, the market offers a delightful selection of handcrafted goods, artisan products, and festive treats.

Indulge in culinary delights like exotic meat burgers, warming Glühwein, Italian chocolates, and specialty cheeses from around the world. Relax in the outdoor food court, soak up the magical ambiance, and watch the world go by.

For families, the market offers a variety of activities, including a visit to Santa's enchanting grotto and a thrilling ride on the vintage helter-skelter.

When Is It Happening?
The Market returns from the 16th of November to the 22nd of December 2024. Opening times: Monday to Wednesday (10am to 8pm), Thursday to Saturday (10am to 10pm) and Sunday (12 noon to 6pm). Entry is free!

Where Is It Happening?
It's located in the grounds of Belfast City Hall, in the centre of Belfast. Parking is free around the city after 6pm. It is also easy to reach by bus or train. For those planning to go in the evening, translink will run late night services on Friday and Saturday nights for four consecutive weeks on the run up to Christmas with bus departures from the city as late as 12 midnight and 1.15am.
