About

The Parson’s Nose comes with a pedigree that’s melded into the very fabric of the building.

Located in the picturesque village of Royal Hillsborough, The Parson’s Nose was built by the first Marquis of Downshire in the late 1700s. This simple yet elegant Georgian townhouse has today been transformed into a characterful and charming dining pub.

Since being purchased by the team that is also behind the landmark Balloo House in Killinchy, The Parson’s Nose has certainly been making a name for itself. Not only has it been announced as one of the Bridgestone Guide’s Top 100 Restaurants in Ireland but has also earned a listing in The Michelin Guide.

With local brews, and top chef Danny Millar responsible for the food, The Parson’s Nose delivers outstanding food and drink in an atmosphere of genteel hospitality.

The Parson’s Nose opens seven days a week, serving food from 12:00 through to last orders, 21:00 Sunday to Thursday and 22:00 Friday and Saturday. Offering guests a very well priced set day time menu, the ‘Heavenly Menu’ from 12:00–18:30.
