About

Splash out and have fun with WaveRides Paddleboarding as you learn stand up paddleboarding in the picturesque old harbour at Carrickfergus Castle, on the main Causeway Coastal route with the castle as your impressive backdrop.

We provide two hour sessions of Stand up Paddleboarding experience for family, friends and groups, at very affordable prices.
Your session will include all equipment required, paddle boarding top tips and basic sea safety.

Sessions are delivered in a safe and controlled environment in the impressive surroundings of Carrickfergus Castle by a fully qualified instructor with 35 years maritime experience. WaveRides are formally recognised as a British Stand Up Paddleboard School.

WaveRides are a mobile business and also operate from Comber and Newtownards or can come to your local water base.
