About

Gardens around this Georgian farmhouse. Experience old Irish gate, tree and sculpture trails. Rare Breeds Farm which includes Irish Moiled and Dexter cattle, Galway and Jacob Sheep, Saddleback, Tamworth and Gloucester Old Spot pigs. Large selection of ornamental fowl and waterfowl. Barn museum with agricultural exhibits.

Tannaghmore is also home to the Kissing Gate. Legend has it that couples who kiss over the gate will get married within a year. Couples who have their wish fulfilled often return to pose for wedding photographs.

Picnic area, barbecue and large children's play area**. Wheelchair accessible.

NOTE*** The childrens play park is currentely closed from March 11th for renovation works and should be completed by July2019 so visitors will be able to enjoy a brand new facilityin the summer.
The other areas of Tannaghmore Gardens, including the animal farm, are unaffected by the works.
