From the forest you will have good views of Lough Erne - resembling a shining maze of oversized puddles, the hills beyond extending to County Cavan.The country roads are quiet and bordered by hedges full of honeysuckle, as well as a variety of plants.

Good footwear is required for this walk as there are sections of surfaced and unsurfaced track and two large craters in the forest road to negotiate.
