About

Depart Carrickfergus sailing aboard a modern luxury yacht, with all the creature comforts you would expect in an apartment.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be served on arrival and the skipper will give you a tour of the boat.
After a quick safety brief, you will leave land behind and set sail across Belfast Lough. It will give you an insight into our history, as you experience the same elements our forefathers were exposed to. Imagine the explorers setting off in search of the New World, as the coastline shrinks behind you. You will enjoy a sense of tranquillity and isolation which is difficult to achieve on land.

It is a very sensory experience; you will feel the yacht heeling over in the gusts of wind, watch the spray breaking over the bow of the boat as we cut through the waves, get a tingle in your spine as you cast the lines and control a 45’ yacht like a boss. No previous sailing experience is necessary; the skipper and crew are professionally trained and qualified to look after you. The boat can be fully controlled from the cockpit, so there is not need to step onto the side decks if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

There are several options available; you can be adventurous and try your hand at a new skill, or choose the more peaceful lifestyle and enjoy watching the scenery and wildlife from a new angle. You can also have an outing tailored specifically for you; speak to us about date nights, travel to specific destinations, or create a memorable occasion for that special someone. Whatever you choose, we are sure you will love it. The best long distance, sustainable travel solution around.

Yacht facilities include air conditioning, a large U-shaped seating area, three separate bedrooms, two toilets, showers, fridge, freezer, cooker and a Bose sound system. The boat is fully equipped with radar, AIS, auto-helm, a 10-man life raft, 14 life jackets, an inflatable dinghy, three VHF radios and GPS, as well as traditional charts of the local area.
