About

Guided walking tours of Belfast City Centre.  Belfast à Pied tours are dedicated to French speaking visitors but everyone is welcome to take a tour.

As a French person settled in Belfast since 2001, I make you discover my adopted city as I show it to my friends: without blush, without common places and in all its authenticity. Far from pitfalls and myths, I introduce you to the city, its history, its architecture, its good children and bad subjects, its wealth and weaknesses, and what defines it and makes it so attractive: its inhabitants.

For your first stay in this city, I recommend my introductory tour "Discover and understand Belfast" which you can possibly then complete with one of my thematic tours "Maritime Belfast", "Historical Pubs" or the political tour "The two communauties and the troubles".

Dicover and Understand Belfast tour is an essential introduction for those visiting Belfast for the first time. I guide you through the historic heart of the city explaining everything you need to hear in order to know and understand it.

For those who, after following my introductory tour, want to know more about a particular aspect of Belfast, want a more in-depth tour or for groups (regardless of size), you have the option to choose from the following complementary tours.

You will find all the details on these different circuits by visiting www.belfast-a-pied.com.

The reviews and comments of my visitors (at the bottom of the page on my site) will allow you to see if my services correspond to what you are looking for.

Belfast is not visited as one visits Paris, Rome or New York. My city has to be approached with indulgence, respect, and open-mindedness. I explain my city to you to give you the keys of its heart.
