About

The Ballymiscaw Cookery School is for people wanting to learn how to cook, or improve their culinary skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Run and managed by Kate and Peter Buchanan, the cookery school offers all types of courses from easy entertaining, one pot wonders, cakes and bakes, starving students and many more.

Kate and Peter have developed all the courses and they will guide youthrough the day, answering any questions you might have. Kate has over
20 years experience as a Home Economics teacher and Peter has 49 years’ experience eating.
The cookery school is set in a modern classroom environment at Ashfield Girls’ High School in East Belfast where the facilities will enable you to create delicious food. The courses are suitable for all ages, and are intended to be fun and informative. Whether you come on your own, or as part of a group, you will make new friends and enjoy the day.
